Portrait Session with Isaac Plasterer

Dear future gal,
My name is Isaac Plasterer. I am taking photography because I really want to know how a camera works and I love taking pictures. I hope you don’t mind being embarrassed in public because I am outgoing, and you’ll never know what is coming next. I’m a bucketful of surprises… In ten years I am obviously going to be married to you and I will have my own business too. I will take you out to lunch at chipotle everyday for the rest of our lives, only if you want to though. But if you sit on your iPhone 6, listen to all of “todays hits”, and take selfies, we are over because I want all of pop culture to go away, and if you decide to let it go you can come and find me either in the pool or somewhere outside. But I’ll probably be looking rough because of the stupid caliche I have in my hair that I vigorously want to get rid of. I also play the guitar and love to learn new music and songs! So if you want me to learn a song for you, I would love to. So don’t be afraid to tell me your favorite kind of music. There is so much more I could say about myself but I will just leave it at this…

                  Your Future dude,
THE RICH BATMAN WHO H8’S NEEDLES.

Sketchbook Cover

I took this picture with my cell phone. The photo I took has composition because of the angle and and the different colors that fit together. The value of the photograph to me is probably something inspirational. The quote I really like is If you wanna fly, you got to give up the things that weigh you down. The theme of my sketchbook cover sort of centers around the whole "flying" or "sky" topic. I showed my personality and beliefs through this cover because I truly believe that if you have the courage to try something new, your wings already exist you just have to find a way to use them and succeed. In the center of my cover is a picture of the sky right before dusk. The outline or frame of my cover if put back together is also the sky. The paintings really tie in with my theme because the birds of a feather and the cloud behind my name are related to the sky. The principles of designs I have chosen are repetition, contrast, and movement. Repetition is shown throughout the cover with the frame and the triangles. Contrast is the black i used for the birds and my name. Lastly, movement is shown with my feather and the triangles pointing in different directions.

Best Photo

I feel that you have to have a passion or story behind whatever you are shooting. In this picture I, and the viewers should feel some type of emotion. For example, when you look at this photo you could feel sad. There is a very dark and blurry background and a lightened and focused foreground. That creates the emotion of sadness.
